Vijay’s Puli shooting is taking place in Seshachalam forest near Tirupati and the unit is quite shocked to hear about the encounter that took place near the shooting spot on Tuesday.
Viewers are aware that 20 Red-Saunders were allegedly killed in a police encounter at Seshachalam forest near Tirupati. The Puli unit including Vijay, Shruti Haasan and others were shooting at a place that is 30 km away from the encounter spot.
“Vijay, Shruti and several others from the team were surprised to see scores of police check posts enroute Talakona. We had no idea that such a big encounter had happened in the area. Our shooting spot is very secluded and the entire unit shuddered after realizing that they were so close to the action,” says an insider.
However, Puli shooting continued unaffectedly, he claimed.
Directed by Chimbudevan, Puli is a socio-fantasy film that casts Hansika as the female lead. Sridevi, Sudeep and others will be seen in key roles. Devi Sri Prasad scores music for this SKT Studios production film.
